March Madness: Elite Eight Recap
- Updated: March 29, 2017
After a closely-contested Sweet 16, there was little drama in the Elite Eight, with each of the winning programs garnering over 75 percent of the vote.
University of Texas will enter the Final Four with no program keeping them under 90 percent, but will finally meet a college with similar long-term, far-reaching roots in the sport in the form of Emerson College. On the other side of the bracket, Tufts University became the second Boston program to make the Final Four but will be the underdogs against a University of Maryland program that has barely been challenged so far.
